Children's Dental Care

Expert Dental Care for Children

Children’s dental care and oral health is incredibly important. We closely monitor the development of their jaws and the eruption of their teeth to ensure everything is progressing as it should.

When should I start taking my child to the dentist?

As soon as your child’s first teeth come through – usually within the first year – you should begin regular dental visits. Early check-ups allow us to track jaw growth and tooth eruption, and they also help your child become familiar with the dental environment, reducing anxiety and promoting lifelong positive habits.

When should I start brushing their teeth?

Toothbrushing should begin as soon as the first tooth appears. Use a small, soft, age-appropriate toothbrush and a tiny smear of children’s toothpaste. Avoid adult toothpaste at this stage, as it often contains more fluoride than children need and the taste may be too strong for them.

What about prevention?

We provide all recommended preventive care to protect your child’s teeth from decay and other issues. Regular check-ups are essential so we can monitor their oral health, spot early changes, and take action when needed.

What about orthodontic treatment?

We routinely assess your child’s tooth and jaw development. If orthodontic treatment becomes necessary, we will refer them to a specialist orthodontist at the appropriate time.
